Not a place for sitting down and eat. Just carry out as it’s name states :) You have to call ahead of time and order because the lady only takes certain amount of orders per working way.

Amazing fried chicken. This is my plate half way thru (I ate it all haha). I have been living in Dekalb for about 5 years and this is my first time having Lothson’s chicken. The chicken had crispy skin and moist meat. Great seasoning. I wasn’t sure what the cream/butter was that they give you in a cup. It’s sweet and salty and surprisingly really good. It pairs well with the roll. Coleslaw is nice and tangy. For being the first week of March, the food arrived home and it was still warm! I will only be ordering fried chicken from this place!

Hands down the BEST chicken around! Everything is always fresh and delicious. Chicken is crispy and juicy, very good coleslaw (coming from someone who is very picky with coleslaw definitely #1 here), the bread rolls and butter is delicious! And homemade fries! Oh and hubby loves the perch here!

This is one of the best fried chicken places in the state. The lady is 73-year-olds and still making chickens for over 50 years. A few times a week so you have to find out when they're open. I know it's always open on Sundays and Wednesdays 4:30 to 7:00. I think one of the secrets is that she chooses small chickens which have the best flavor. She puts a light breading on it so the chicken tastes exceptional. You can order a five-wing dinner which I love. He'll come with a small vinegar, coleslaw and some fries. I always try to come at the opening so the grease is fresh and not going to affect the taste of the chicken
